Singapore meets Zurich – Research, Outcomes and Prospect

Future Cities Symposium 2014 | NSL Werkdiskussion | 24 – 26 September 2014
Exhibition | 24 September – 9 November 2014

The Future Cities Laboratory (FCL) is an international, Singapore-based and Zurich-inspired, ETH platform for advanced urban research. The FCL community works with a strong transdisciplinary perspective that encompasses architecture, urban design and planning, engineering, computer sciences and social sciences. Their research is structured around multiple scales that range from building materials and systems, to urban neighbourhoods, quarters and precincts, to extended networks and flows, to city hinterlands and territories. FCL was the first programme of Singapore-ETH Centre for Global Environmental Sustainability (SEC), co-launched by the Departement of Architecture.

The FCL community would like to invite you to an Exhibition and Symposium to engage in FCL’s most recent work. The Exhibition and Symposium will showcase the context, findings, products, and methods of the diverse research projects undertaken in Singapore ETH Centre.
