On Friday, 28th September 2012 we started with our 5 weeks long first module. The course focuses on acquiring the necessary knowledge to generate, develop and output topographic models in the design process. Students learn basic NURBS modeling techniques and output their models on the various CNC machines available.
Various other potentialities for topographical modeling are also explored in instance-based sequences showing the design process over time. The end result is the integration of modeling in the landscape design process, not just for final presentations but as a dynamic verification and rapid prototyping tool.
