Patrick Düblin

Research Associate | Doctoral Student

Patrick Düblin studied art history and philosophy, specialising in the intersection of art, architecture, urbanism, and landscape. From 2016 to 2023, he researched and taught at the Chair of Landscape Architecture of Prof. Christophe Girot at the ETH Zurich. His PhD thesis, completed in 2023, examines the performative and socially engaged practice of the Italian collective of artists and architects Stalker/Osservatorio Nomade, in particular their physical engagement with peripheral spaces, architectural education, and participatory approaches with marginalised groups. His teaching combines theoretical and historical approaches with applied interventions in urban space. He has also been a researcher and curator at the Kunstmuseum Basel and a fellow at the Swiss Institute in Rome.
