Sung Hong Kim is professor of architecture and urbanism at the University of Seoul. He studied architecture at Georgia Tech in Atlanta, the University of California at Berkeley, and Hanyang University in Seoul. Prof. Kim was a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at the University of Washington, and Provost of Planning and Research Office at the University of Seoul. Between 2007 and 2010 he organized an exhibition entitled «Megacity Network: Contemporary Korean Architecture» and brought it to the Deutsches Architektur Museum in Frankfurt, the Deutsches Architektur Zentrum in Berlin, the Museum of Estonian Architecture in Tallinn, the Espai Picasso(eP) in Barcelona and the National Museum of Contemporary Art in Korea. He has authored research papers, essays, and books about contemporary Korean architecture and urbanism.
Sung Hong Kim was curator of the «The FAR Game: Constraints Sparking Creativity» for the Korean Pavilion at 2016 Venice Biennale: International Architecture Exhibition.
