Intersensory Silence
Here and there the buzzing of an insect,
sometimes a shy birdcall,
a little wind chime ringing at the slightest breeze:
the bustling of the urban surroundings.
Sitting in the garden,
I see the soft surface of moss-covered stones.
I feel silence.
